Poems from Megan Collins
I swim in a sea of blue
Nothing old, nothing new
The earth is cold
My bare feet walk on
solid ground
But I stumble
as I try to find my way...
No motivation
To do what needs
To be done until the
Last possible mintute
A force pulls her backwards
And tells her to wait
Making her...
We don't sleep
Define Us by the
way we walk and
how the words drop
from our mouths with
a certian type a slang
lifting up each syllable...
There is no end
to this journey
There will be
no peace
inside this mind
Because I know
What's inside
this uncapped
Secret
A disturbance...
Secretly Depressed
Secretly Haunted
Secretly Hiding
From herself
And the truth
Behind her life
Words drowned
Out by screams
Telling her...
