Poems from Jenna Lynn Williams
I have been writing poetry full-time since September 2014. I am a mom of 3 boys ages 12, 7 & 5, and stepmom to a son age 24, a daughter age 23 and a daughter age almost 19. I am happily divorced from my abusive ex husband and happily remarried to the man of my dreams. My new husband and i met thru poetry on Facebook. I like to read, write, and draw. I like music of ALMOST n e kind. I also listen to songs and rewrite the lyrics to a portion of my life story.
If hustle and bustle
Is all that we know,
Then what do you do when
There's nowhere to go?
With lights aglow
And hearts below
How can we not...
Dasher, Dancer,
Smoke a pack
Prancer, cancer
Hit the sack.
One day you'll wake
And realize you
Need to stop
For their sake, too.
You want...
If love is fleeting
Then it's sleeting.
You said you hate me
Now you date me.
You get me riled up,
When the bills are piled up.
I'm already...
It's not fair,
It's not right,
I lost power,
I lost might.
One's eight
Who can't skate
One's two
Who never knew.
The little one's
Not yet...
He's passive-aggressive,
Controlling, it's true.
If you will let him,
He'll control you, too.
No friends for you,
You've got him,
It is...
