I see his face and her face, I see all the rest
But do you not see the hole in my chest?
I hear his voice and her voice, I hear theirs...
A bird who loves his cage and his view of the tree
Is still a bird in captivity
The loveliest of cells still has the power to derange
I...
The word "fight" never seemed to apply
I see its far more than what meets the eye
A promise made in youth that must live when youth dies...
Dandelions sure do look like flowers
But they're weeds that wilt in just a few hours
To my untrained eye, it looked like a real dollar bill...
