Your Poem

with your smile

ice

will melt from grey boughs

frigid

tears upon a fair cheek

with your touch

leaves

will shudder in tender breeze

whispers

in the evening air

with your voice

doves

will cease their lamenting croon

silent

as the morning dew

and with your glance

my skin

will shiver under sweet caress

poignant

as love’s deathless fraud.
