In Your Arms

The car went faster than ever before,
You drove while holding my hand,
As you told me our dreams.

After high school we decided to leave,
Go somewhere we could be together,
And play our music.

You drove away from all of my fears,
To your house,
A place where I could be safe.

You talked about stealing me to a cabin,
Where you and I could live out the rest of our lives,
In the safety of each others' arms.
