You and I

Strange pair you and I

Playing like a couple of kids

Chasing you around

Your open coat flying behind you like a cape

And when I catch up to you

I'm pulled into a warm hug

And deep kisses only a lover can provide

Then we're like a married couple

Fresh out of the cathedral

Where to live and how many kids

Simply fun questions to consider

We're in this awkward age

Not kids but not adults

Better have a taste of both worlds

Before leaving one and staying in another
