'You'
'You' is such a lovely word
It's simple, so I'm undeterred
From using it so commonly
Although it means the world to me.
'Are's another, quite as small,
But strong as well, as I recall,
A glue to stick the simple 'you'
To what you are or say or do.
And 'loved' is final, and more rare,
Even stronger, yet I dare
To bond my soul decisively
To 'you', my sole security
