Would You

Location

We're caught up in our own world,

spiraling down in a never ending twirl,

or maybe we're drowning in a never-ending swirl.

We try to catch our breath and gasp for air,

but what happens when the person next to us can't catch theirs?

Do we watch and hope that they climb out?

Or so we sacrafice ourselves to help them out?

Are we selfish, or selfless? Are we brave, or cowardice?

Can we care for others, or are we too caught in our own mess?

What if the tables turned and you needed help out,

and that person glanced at you with a sense of doubt?

Would they take their chances tohelp you too?

Look in the mirror.

Pull yourself through.

The only person who can get you out, is you.
