"If I could change the world"

is a funny little phrase

because really,

there shouldn't be a "if" involved.

 

Anyone can change the world

Any day

Any time

Any place. 

 

It all starts from the heart.

and deep down, 

we all know this to be true.

 

The world needs love 

a selfless, agape love. 

 

A love

That thinks of others first

sends a letter of encourgement

when somone is down.

Gladly is a shoulder to be leaned on

and has a shirt soaked in tears.

 

A love

that looks past

human's failures, faults, and sins.

Even past

the evil of the most hated human.

 

We all do things we regret

and after all, we're human; 

no one is perfect.

 

What we all want is to be loved

and the cause for the evil in the world?

I believe, with all my heart,

is a lack of love. 

 

So let me use my words

as my voice

to say

it is each our duty to give a little love.

Because it goes a long way.
