Wishes for Kisses and Fairy Tales

Location

If it were a fairytale you would stay.

That telepathic little power,

glasses fogged from breath,

 undone.

You don’t have time to stay.

 What a silly little girl

 I am,

to ask and to hope.

Instead I invited you inside.

Shut the door,

let us hide in a dusted steel box.

Sincerity and conviction

You gave the little silly girl hope.

Stole her smile,

marked her body and mind.

Dashed, wasted time.

Reality barred and bared the thought.

Fair is only fair in fairy tales
