Will You Be My Valentine?

When looking into your eyes, wishing I

could explain everything you do to me

my heart skips just from being side by side

or how a kiss gets my knees wobbly

A smile always appears when you are near

But when you smile my heart melts instantly

Great character, soul, personality

humor, features, integrity, and smart.

You deserve only the best, which truly

though this poem is written by the heart.

I don’t measure up to you. But I promise to

love, stand by, support, comfort, and stay true.

It’s yours, though it’s not much to give to you

I’m happy and proud to call you mine

will you be my lovely valentine?
