Why do we need the word hate?

To validate love?

To give reason to our minds?

 As an excuse to never move forward,

To always look back,

To never find peace within our own skins?

What if we gave it up?

Gave up the hate,

Gave up the excuses,

Found a reason to just live and let live?

The world’d be a better place,

And we’d finally have peace.
