Who are the REAL Bullies?

Parents always tell us that

we can tell them anything,

especially when you’re being bullied.

but you can’t because

they are the bullies.

They hurt you

with their words

and their actions.

When they hit you or

spank you,

that makes you feel

like they love doing it.

When they say mean, hurtful

insults,

it makes you feel worthless.

You wanna tell someone, but

if you do, then a social worker

will take you away

and you’ll never see your parents again.

At first you’re happy, but after a while,

you get sad and miss them a lot.

So, you keep it to yourself.

You say to yourself,

“It’s my fault.

I made them be angry at me

because I’m stupid

and I always will be.”

You think,

I will be good tomorrow

and be able to please them

by not talking, yeah,

that should do the trick.
