This is where we used to hide our secrets...

Location

Thia word truth speaks the truth

The whole truth

And nothing but the truth so help me god

Express the presence and importance of what I’m about to say

This world that we are living in today

Finds a way to hide truth from the family like that stash in the left hand drawer on the top right shelf

In the back of your bedroom’s closet

It’s not a secret anymore

Pathway to explore

Your inner thoughts, deeply hidden in your mind

Which we are always trying to find and rhyme

These next few lines in time,

We can no longer be blind to these secrets

That has been shut out for way too long now

So I ask you now to help get out of bed with us

And pry open these curtains to reveal the truth hiding in the corner

Of the room we call life

This truth that we search for in our lives

Can be a surprise, cause cries, at first think are lies

But in the end you realize it’s been lying at your feet all this time

I’m here to tell you to look down and see that truth

Clinging onto your leg

Refused to give attention to

Until your time is overdue

And the truth has fallen off your shoe

Lost in time and space

To which you can’t replace

Or even face your problems that you didn’t know you had

I want to show you the truth of the world that we live in today

What to say, what to stay away from is your own decision

I’m just here to give you my own opinions, on this life that we live in,

And when in doubt, just look at your sources

Let the forces of nature influence your

New beginnings of this new world

The truth I am talking about is your simply own perspective

Whether it be seeing a person’s true colors or whether they really used a contraceptive

The point is, it’s your own decision on what truth you seek

Whether it be bleak, sleek, or not so neat

The list can go on it will defiantly take more than a few weeks

To uncover this path that guides us to the truth

So I’ll give you the nails but you need to build the roof

To shelter yourself from lies that we’ve been living in

However, be careful because this truth can feel like a lethal injection, or even a thorough inspection of your personal thoughts

Brought forth to the light

So keep calm and solemnly swear to not only tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth but may your god also help you see the truth

Because in a world where the truth can be hidden to the untrained eye

It’s often lost among the chaos and the frantic “goodbyes”

And the more you push this truth to the dark corner of your brain

The constant lying will gradually turn you insane

So I say to you embrace the truths that live in your life

Because a life full of lying is a life less liked
