Where Did You Go?

On a sunny day,

I would come out to play,

Tag and hide and seek,

For all my new friends to meet,

The joy of running in the summer breeze,

Is a day I will wish to seize,

Because people came out less and less,

Why has growing up been said to be the best,

Now I spend time in a cold room staring into a screen,

Just to contact another human being,

The once knocking at the door,

Is now a beeping on the floor,

While I lay trying to find something to do,

But put no effort to try and move,

The times we spent outside,

Is time now spend trying to hide,

These devices meant to simplify life,

Is the biggest cause of this strife,
