When We Were Kids

When I saw the world differently from a kid; when I realized how it was when we were kids.

When we were kids we had no concept of time; time did not exist.

When we were kids we did not have to pay each other to play.

When we were kids we did not have to bribe each other, or give tips to keep good business.

When we were kids we didn't have a choice as to the family we were in, yet as adults, now we do.

When we were kids we laughed at anything even when we were not supposed to.

When we were kids life was simple. Can't we go back to being kids?

There were no deadlines.

There was no money.

There was no shame of who we were;

When we were kids.
