What is your answer?

"What is your answer?”

When the words you speak seem softer than silk.

What use?

If the hearts from which they pour are harder than a rock.

What makes you think?

You can take vengeance, in your own hands.

That God can’t avenge all who are His?

Can you promise, that this vengeance you seek

Won’t cost more innocent souls?

Can you promise, that this vengeance you seek

Won’t let in more darkness through floodgates?

Can you promise, that this vengeance you seek

Won’t lead us astray?

When all is said and done,

Can you take the burden of those souls that have gone?

So you have an answer?

An answer, to the mothers of the innocent

Whose lives you had no right to take?

When the choice comes to kill or be killed,

Remember the son of Adam, the one who was raised.

If power in this world is what you seek,

Go on ahead.

What will be the point once you've made it to the top?

Looking in the mirror,

Will you recognize the one staring into your eyes?
