What Would You Change Scholarship Slam

The distance is killing me, I’m slowly ebbing away.

You have my heart, I cannot take it away

But my heart cannot live in two places at once

So I want to curse every mile that’s in between us,

This crazy love we share shouldn’t be torn by being miles apart

So let’s make a deal, together, for the world to see

Let’s laugh at the distance, in our own times

Let’s hold hands, across all these state lines

Let’s stand together, although it might seem strange,

Until all of this can be changed.
