anything in the world
what could I possibly pick?

Would I change the double standards:
How men are seen against women
and how society feels?

Would I change the clashing opinions:
How if everyone were able to listen to others,
we might find a solution?

Would I change the world for the helpless:
So those in third worlds and those living on our streets
could have a better life?

Would I change the attraction to the all mighty dollar:
So that not everything was measured
by the pieces of paper in your wallet?

Or would I change the way I see myself?

Would I change the fact:
That I don’t have much confidence,
that I compare myself to every person I see?

Would I change the fact:
That I stick my foot in my mouth
and always feel left out?

Would I change the fact:
That I don’t understand everything
and that I wish I could be smarter?
