what do i fear

what do i fear
i fear stagnation, being too comfortable, and lack of progression
i fear of never shoot for the stars and reach my full potential
i fear being forgotten.........the past........my history.............yesterday news
i fear giving up and being passed up..........laying to a soft good night
i fear to let down those who genuinely believe in me
i fear in letting myself.........not fulfilling my destiny
i fear giving in to "it is what it is" mentality
i fear dying without leaving my mark
i fear not feeling these fears anymore, just floating along in cloud nine.......knowing there are dark days that lies ahead of me
these fears fuel my engine.....they flourish my drive
my courage awakens through the midst of my fears
i love my fears

When we have fear it shows us what we can face and i enjoyed your poem because i have fears and when i read this poem makes me think of my fear in a different way more then something i avoid but attack

I been better more positive I had few think that's been crazy but I got people who hold me down and make me smile .Also school I'm the vice president of my school the only black person but that doesn't effect me also I created my own club called peers helping peers study group .school tuff but I'm fighting it out . Also you so lucky ton have open mic one day I will have the chance to have open mic and read my poetry .

definitely take advantage of all opportunities

if there is an open mic in your state, attend and bless the mic
along with open mics, i'm focusing on creating open mics at my job
