What Cheers Me Up

When I'm feeling down and have the blues,
I plug in my ear buds to keep my cool,
I wrap in my blanket and cover my feet,
And close my eyes to feel the beat.

I tell my stories in my lines,
But you couldn't tell that it is mine,
I throw random words in there,
To try to mask my despair.

I used to listen to Mindless Behavior,
The group's old music was a real life savior,
I'd listen to and discover songs,
That I would think about all night long.

And so you can most likely see,
That music is what makes me live happily.
