Time passing

                                                         Days and Weeks and Years

Rain drops falling from the roof;

dripping on the sidewalk

 

People watching things and People watching people

 

Darkness, only because it means light is coming

Light, only because it allows you to see

Seeing, only because everything is so beautiful

 

Music:

notes fillings empty spaces in time

Harmonies and Melodies entwined

brought together by musicians and shower-singers

 

Happiness and sadness--

Hope and despair--

Love and hatred--

And feeling like feelings are all we have in the world

 

Babies and elders, looking at each other

In awe

“One day I will be you”

“One day I was you”

 

Just living in a world

where limits exist only physically
