When we walk hand in hand

When we smile at one another

When we stop all the hate

There is peace

When we all come together

And be kind to one another

When we all get along

When there is trust all around

And not one gun sound

And there’s no more reason to cry

When there’s no more smoke in the sky

If we open our eyes

And try hard to realize

That we have to stop all the lies

And no harsh words to say

But I’m sorry to say

That the remarkable day

When the whole world can say “there is peace”

Will be when we all come together

And be kind to one another

When we all get along

There is peace

When the rich help the poor

And the hungry are no more

When our hearts open the door

There is peace

There is peace in this world

We just have to find it

If we dig deep in our hearts

We will all be reminded

Of what this world should look like

Of what we all must do

In order to make sure

That we push peace through
