we need to teach our daughters the difference
between
a man who charms her
and a man who compliments her
a man who spends money on her
and a man who invests in building a life with her
a man who claims her as his property
and a man who embraces her strength without feeling threaten properly
a man who lusts for her for merely her body
and a man that loves her for all
a man that he is a gift to all women
and a man who knows she's a gift to him
it's essential to teach our sons to be that kind of a man

So true!!! I wish someone would have told me this at a young age instead of me learning it the hard way. Love is patient, kind, devoted, faithful, and all that is God. We need to teach our young girls and boys to see that love is not about the sex, money, and just butterfly-in-your-stomache kind of feelings. It runs deeper than the material physical things of life for it connects to partners to each other by heart and soul. Love the poem and the message. God bless and keep writing on my friend(:!!!

I have been good(: I feel stressed here and there, but I am praying and keeping my head up through the storm. I am working on three poems right now that seem to be almost done. I should have them posted up by next Thurday to check out for all. Other than that, I feel like a soldier coming back from war ready to have my homecoming celebration began.
