We feel what you feel
Location
Everyday I live in discrimination
as a LGBT first generation
I only hide, deep down inside
calming down my long frustration
I sometimes feel the need to 'come out'
the only hope turns into doubt
all of a sudden, it's now a burden
but I haven't a choice but to be out
I wanted my friends and people around me
to be by my side and not turn against me
to give a hand, or at least understand
but in the reality all they do is to flee
It is not what's entirely abnormal
my only wish was to show normal
just because you are not us
don't make the issue uncomfortably formal
We can certainly talk about it
with some patience you might someday admit
I am not queer; I'm just a queer
there is no reason to not understand it
the emotion named love is what you feel
it is the exact same feeling that we have too
you have false alarm, we do not harm
We just shine in two different hue
