but not crushed
perplexed
but not in despair
persecuted
but not abandoned
struck down
but not destroyed

We as human beings are weak and very easy to breakdown into nothing. Even though this is true, this poem describes the other part of us that is strong and capable to survive in this harsh world. I also interpreted from this poem that we are very hard to understand. It can take a few days up to a lifetime to figure each other out. If we would all take some time to get to no each other past all of our complexed layers, it wouldn't be so hard for us to figure out each other. I hope I didn't misinterpreted this poem. Keep writing on my friend.
