We Are The Fierce

If I could change one thing

I would give myself the face of a lion

A body of steal

Heart of molten lava

So no one could ever burn me

I would scare off the demons with my growl

Stand tall

Never sway from a challenge

I would no longer run scared

From responsibilities

Instead my mane would ripple in spring breezes

Heat radiating from my metal skin

Stretching toward my goals

The most fearsome competitor

No longer hidden behind a shy demeanor

I would turn myself inside out

Muscles bulging

Blood pumping

All in the open

Where every feeling would be seen

Every moment heard

Through my sound-barrier breaking roar

If I could change one thing
