If I could change one thing in the world

I would change that people can say things without thinking first

I would give those who couldn't stand up for themselves and speak for themselves a voice

by making those that they are standing up to able to see what the other side is going through

I would make "thoooose" kids realize that they aren’t the only ones around and there are more

important things to life than “when is the new I-phone is coming out?”

I would make people go from being egocentric to altruistic.

I would make them see that there are seven billion people in this world

not just one.

I would make them step out of their own shoes

and into their enemy's

and realize

Hey they really aren’t that bad.

Hey they are going through some tough times too.

Hey they're just like me.

Once humanity realizes that,

the sky's the limit

wars will end

violence will cease to exist

and things like hunger, poverty and self-hate will disappear

because

people won't just see from their perspective.

they will see and learn and build upon everyone elses' perspective.

all our ideas will work together in tandem and solve the world's problems.

all by changing one thing.

If I could change one thing I would make people realize that they aren’t the only ones in the world.

and make them able to see from the other side of the wire

I would make it so that everyone could have the power to see from the world's perspective

not just their perspective.

I will make them realize that they themselves can make the world a better place
