Urchin
Deep amethyst spikes that are meant to penetrate through life’s setting,
Like fireworks going into the sky and exploding.
Deep colors coming in to light up the oceans over the days,
Like purple hairpins to hold back the waves.
Spiky yet so smooth,
Like a purple porcupine meant to sooth.
It seems that dark has come to engulf the light,
It sure is one beautiful sight.
