Unforseen A-W-E-S-O-M-E
At the time I was only a resident
With a 9 month lease on display, evident.
Everything I saw was dark, foreign and yet the hesitant
Sound of a gentle pulse was all that was relevant.
"Oh how they overlook, this one" I thought
Most see struggle, but I feel the pain she fought.
Each breath costs more than before. To give life, she sought
Early tha morning I came.
Quit night ripped by screams of pain.
Unusual fissures break wane
A lovey body she once laid claim
Loud thunderous winds force me to retreat to the white.
Some contraption grasps me tight.
Moments after the final tug. I simulate a state of drown
Over to the right, something soft holds me like a crown
"More pain is to come, little one, but I'll always be around
