Uneducated Romance

His words continuously repeat,

Refusing to be silenced:

"I love you so much, you're my everything."

"This will prove our everlasting love."

"Nothing bad will happen, I promise."

His assurances seemed so irresitible

and his tone so sincere

Making sex seem trivial yet vital.

The entire experience was fleeting.

Then without any hesitiation he threw his clothes on

and hastily drove away.

Left sitting there in shock, the callous relization hit:

We didnt use protection.

Three periods missed.

The world screeched to a halt.
