The Ugly Girl

Young and impressionable

Your words tore me apart

Like a hurricane ripping thorugh my heart

Ugly you said

Disgusting you preached

Everyone stayed out of my reach

I believed you

They did too

I stayed to myself

And wallowed in the pain

Ugly duckling

But overtime I began to change

Golden face, smooth skin

Long flowing hair

Peircing green eyes

Just the right size

I was perfect

A swan
