The Truth About Forever

I worry for the worst,

Wistfuly hanging and hoping for the moment,

When something will be dfferent,

When something will come first,

Something besides just looks and stares,

Something meaningful, something there.

So why are we playing this damn game of hide and seek?

And why am I always the seeker?

Watching and waiting for you to make a move,

Everyone else did it, why can't you?

I'm sick of waiting,

I'm through with standing alone,

I just want you, but I've waited too long.

The saddest part isn't the wait,

It's only that I'll stick wih it,

Even though I don't know if you will be here,

I'll still wait,

And I guess thats just what love is.
