Location
angelwith1wing's verse:
silver armor, polished and shiny
is now dented and caked with blood
though the war against darkness is frightening
the fight for our father is good
like a soldier getting ready for war
i place god's righteousness on my armor
against my chest to fight off all sinful temptation
and other evil test
i place on my shoes of peace
that comes from the good news he brings
to carry his words from street to street
making sure every lost soul gets saved and walks on godly
i am only,but one of the soldiers in an army under his hands
we all fight for good in these sinful, waste barren lands
thought he enemy comes in different forms trying to gun us down
we will stand up and won't surrender.......not ever and definitely not now
they wake and land knees to the ground and pray
then their father will give them strength throughout their day
though they get pounded over and over by devil's rod
they fight on in faith for they are soldiers of god

i am a soldier that doesn't need to wear army fatigues to show my courage to you lord
everyday i wake up, there is endless war zones where bodies are found in places
that is traumitizing to kids, whose spirits are tainted with fear
my fight against evil is powerful
but with my faith to you
we can conquer against hatred that lies in front and all around us
like a soldier getting ready for war
i too also place god's righteousness on my armor
against my chest to fight off sinful temptation more compelling
and a man cheating on his spouse
i put on nikes that symbolizes triumph
that's why it has a check sign
to pass on the good word of faith
from hood to hood, so powerful that even gangstas will go to church on sundays
to pray and ask god for forgiveness so they cleanse from sinful acts
so deeply, only sign they rep is not bloods or crips
but the symbol of peace using only two fingers
when i come home safely knowing the danger
lurks everywhere waiting to strike if caught napping
i give all my glory to you for protecting me from all harm's way
i may get pounded by the devil's rod
but i'll keep fighting until i defeat my adversary
which means i'll take that same rod and crucify the devil's existence
i'm not one to believe in violence
i defend my honor to you by being a true soldier to the kingdom of god
