A Tree

When you look at a tree,
With its monstrous trunk
And shining emerald leaves,
You see only a tree.

But a tree is so much more,
It's life waiting to happen.
Each leaf carrying a story of its own
With new adventures yet to come.

What you call just a tree,
To others, is a home.
A place to escape,
A place to call their own.

That tree that lies on your street
Is not only a tree,
But a wondrous world,
Where wisdom is the key.

It's where the secrets to life are held,
Forever kept, and never to be known.
