Trayvon to Z

I slam what I will

I slam for what I'm not

For who are we to judge

Who is or not shot?

This case is a war

That creased the line between worlds

Defining our separation

Splitting boys and girls.

Though the fight is on race

It effects the masses

For those caught inside

The weeds in the grasses.

His life is lost, yes

But were you there? Or was I?

Then I think we need let Z

Be by his lonesome to cry.

I think he's innocent.

I think he's guilty

But who am i to judge

The flowers that are wilting?

He ended a life

But the nation ended another

Z now has to follow

Casey Anothony's thunder.

You ask for his death

Us people were cruel

Because instead he gets torture

And to us it won't soothe.

Think for a moment

If it happened to you,

If you happened to be Z

Trapped in a "free" zoo.
