My walls are closing in on me.

It's getting hard to breathe.

Deep hopes and sharp realities

Are all consuming me.

This pressured air is thickening.

I'm too tired to scream.

This fog of high expectations

Is now surrounding me.

The light, it's quickly vanishing.

This darkness smothers me.

These rules and lines they keep me in

Are slowly killing me.

I pray escape would rescue me.

Please freedom, bring me peace.

This tyranny is breaking me.

Save me, insurgency!
