Transcending Perfect
Location
What color is perfection?
That elusive transcendence from reality
That which demands unnecessary change
I see you, and you are transparent.
I am flesh and bone
I bleed when I am cut open
Whether this that courses through my veins is blood I am not sure,
Heart and soul are so close,
The windows to one might be arteries to the other
And when my heart is tugged upon,
it is always my eyes that respond.
I transcend that hollow picture of perfect.
I feel fully and completely.
I am not ashamed to cry.
I am human.
I am real.
