Tragedy

Sun, 04/15/2018 - 18:50 -- Lessett

no one sees the pain behind her eyes

no one could hear her loud cries

she was alone in a world filled with people, and yet she was still here.

when she smiled; she wanted to frown

when she laughed; she wanted to cry

when she woke up; she wanted to go to sleep

because the real happiness was held in her dreams

ridiculed by her friends

classmates

teachers

and even her own family

always wasted out of her mind

"Because," she states, "Being sober hurts worse than a hangover."

her heart aches but no one sees

and as it starts to break

she slowly starts to lose her sanity

but no one will notice

no one will see

and when they lose her

they'll know her as a Tragedy
