I dream of a world where children grow

Where parents teach, where parents know

Where the earth doesn't hang on by a thread

Where I don't have to sit and shake my head

If you would only listen to their pleads

Future generations wouldn't end up on their knees

Take responsibility for our own actions

Only then will the future hold satisfaction

This poem speaks to all areas of our history in which people looked the other way. The only way progress is made is when people decide to take responsibility and ask "what's next?"
