What really gets me going in life

is the fufillment of dreams

and love throughout strife.

The courage to do

what they said you couldn't

and when you said you could

they said you wouldn't.

Knowing I'll be

in my dream job someday

that keeps me going

in multiple ways.

College acceptance -

the scream of joy.

Crying with mom

when she bought your first toy.

So with pride

I can honestly say

what makes me tick

is loving myself -- today.
