The day I walked in this class,

My heart was so scared,

But your welcoming smile,

Is what got me prepared,

For all of the love,

That you had to share,

With all of your students;

We know that you care.

You showed us how to love,

How to give, how to write,

And we will still hold on,

As we begin to take flight.

I will forever be thankful,

For all you have done,

And I think it’s safe to say,

That we will miss you a ton.
