Tell me

Tell me how do you explain

To one year old brother

Who follows you around

Like a puppy

Loves you to death

That you can’t come home

Tell me what can you do

When six years latter

He still has nightmares

Of strangers

Taking his brother away

Tell me how do you explain

When he comes to visit

That you can’t walk out

With him through that door

Tell me what can you say

Every time you call

He asks

When are you coming home

Tell me how do you explain

That police are good

When he is at such a young age

Developed strong dislike

Tell me what can you say

When he ask to talk to bad man

So he can let his brother go

Tell me how do you explain

Being behind a glass

Inside a cage

Strapped with chains

Tell me how do you explain

That you can’t do anything

When he knows you as

Big

Smart

Strong brother you are

Tell me what can you do

When he looks with

His big trusting eyes

At hopeless parents

Pleading to do something

Tell me what can you say

When his every night prayer

Stays unanswered

Tell me what can I do

When he chocking me

With his little arms

Telling me

I miss you

Tell me if you remember

How for little kids

Five minutes is hours

What years do to him

Tell me if I am

Better off death

So this wouldn’t

Play tricks in

His little head
