teardrop

Location

                                       This

                                           teardrop

                                         I see when

                                night comes to haunt

me. It reminds me of past scars

and dyeing stars that used to shine so

bright.  As the night goes on I wait for dawn to

save me with its light. When it comes, the darkness

runs and is filled with fear.  So I cry even harder because

I know my savior’s here.  It holds me tight under the light

and it keeps me warm. I shed a tear not of fear but

                                                                                                                   because the veil was torn
