A Summer's Rain

Life is a summer’s rain.

It pelts down

As the thunder rumbles.

The air is sticky

And the lightning crackles

There is no shelter.

But then the rain reduces

To a soft patter.

The sun rays break through the clouds

And the thunder shrinks

To a soft mumble

In the distance.
