Summer Blues

Location

When the warmth of the sun caresses your cheek

 The hallways remain cold.

When the laughter of joyous children playing fills your ears

The classroom remains silent.

When family and friends visit every weekend

The desks remain empty.

When summer thrives

The school waits patiently for the children to bring it life again.
