Stress

Stress

Destroys all peace

And throttles all senses

Creating images that cannot exist

Attacking reality,

Twisting your mind,

Life becomes a compression

Of feelings that cannot be.

Slowly building up

Acquiring vicious mass

corrupting your memories

When will it end?

It rises and rises

Until you can handle no more

And your mind enamors distortion

Then it ends.

The atmosphere decays

To a lifeless void

A canvas of black

A horizon of shadow

Self-casting capes of despair

You create your own shell

Trapping all tortured voices

Which belong to you

A throbbing sensation

From the depths of your skull

Claustrophobic and flammable

Pulsating, reminds you

You are not in control

Of this twisted reality,

Your mind.

Still you can do nothing

But give in

Stress
