a tree in the forest 

standing tall

will it not bend

to the winter's song ?

a rock in the river 

holding fast 

through storm and flood

 will the stone last?

a flower in the meadow 

all alone 

it bends to the wind 

but are it's roots strong?

a cliff in the mountains

jagged and rough

through sleet and snow

will it's size be enough?
