Spiritual Battle

My battles are not won

through soldiers.

I, rather, battle what

cannot be seen.


The war is ugly, brutal.

Thankfully, I am only a spectator.

He fights for me.


Not a physical soldier,

as you might imagine.

Instead, a spiritual soldier,

given by grace.


You cannot beat Him,

nor could I.

Why would I even want to try?
