Something They Will Never See

Twisters, whirlwinds, hurricanes, and blizzards surround an insignificant ant.

Hearing everyone to be this, to do that- pulling me in so many different ways

Is it okay to do what I want? What I dream?

Stress and sorrow seeps over me like I am unwanted, junk

I am not doing it right. Am I satisfying everyone’s wants, everyone's needs?

So much pressure builds on up on me, suffocating the life out of me.

Me. Me. Me. Me. I am so selfish.

Effulgent; that is all they will see.
